GMP-GCP Workshop

Biotech Clinical Development and Bio-Manufacturing Practices

The GMP-GCP Workshop is designed to teach biotech professionals about standards and procedures for Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Good Clinical Practices (GCP). Given by two working experts in their respective fields, the biotech professional will learn current practices and procedures to help them in their professional development.

Biotechnology Summer Camp for High School Students

August 11th-12th, 2008

Biotech camp August 11th-12th is designed to teach motivated high school students the concepts and techniques used in biotechnology. Applications of biotech in agriculture, medicine, environment, and forensics will also be discussed. Information will be provided on different careers in biotech as well. Employees from local biotech companies will talk to students about careers and research in biotechnology. A background in biology is required and chemistry preferred.
