Dennis Peck has more than 30 years of experience as an architect, most of which as a senior project manager and marketing director, specializing in the high technology and corporate sectors. He recently joined URS Corporation as the Practice Leader for Higher Education with specialization in Science and Technology Facilities. He provides technical strength and experience on large, complex facility projects for academic and private research and manufacturing of bioengineered products, pharmaceuticals, medical devices, nanoscale particles, and semiconductors, as well as facilities for animal research. He also brings special expertise on issues involving Business Continuity and Mission Critical Facilities providing leadership in assisting corporate and academic clients in developing disaster recovery plans and assisting the same types of clients recover full operations when disaster hits. His solid, mature experience in managing complex projects creates a “win-win” environment for all participants. His exceptional leadership skills are reflected in projects that run smoothly and keep the owner’s goals foremost in the minds of the team members. Prior to joining URS, Mr. Peck was a Senior Vice President and stockholder with the architecture and engineering firm PageSoutherlandPage where he spent eight years building a solid practice in the planning and design of technical buildings to support academic and private sector research and development.
